Skillsassessment.

A positive skills assessment is the first step towards your subclass 482 or skilled visa. We prepare your file with the right assessing authority — VETASSESS, TRA, ACS, Engineers Australia and others.

01 — What it is

The qualification check behind every skilled visa.

A skills assessment is a formal review of your qualifications and work experience by an authority recognised by the Department of Home Affairs. It confirms that what you have studied and done abroad meets the Australian standard for your nominated occupation.

For most skilled and employer-sponsored visas — including the subclass 482 Skills in Demand visa and the points-tested skilled streams — a suitable assessment is required before, or as part of, your visa application. Getting the authority and occupation right at the outset protects your timeline and your fee.

02 — Assessing authorities

The right authority for your occupation.

Each occupation is assessed by a specific body. We work with the full range and pair your case with the correct one.

03 — How we help

From first review to final outcome.

Your file is prepared and lodged by a named member of our team, who stays with it until the authority issues its decision.

01 — Step

Document & eligibility review

We read your qualifications, transcripts and employment history against the requirements before anything is lodged — so the file is right the first time.

02 — Step

Choosing the authority & occupation

We confirm the correct assessing authority and match you to the most appropriate ANZSCO occupation code for your skilled or subclass 482 pathway.

03 — Step

Preparing the evidence

We help you assemble and present evidence of your qualifications and skilled employment — references, payslips, position descriptions and statutory declarations.

04 — Step

Lodging & tracking

We lodge the assessment with the authority and track it through to outcome, responding to any request for further information on your behalf.
